Scissors are busy clipping banana leaves at every home and schools around the island as Phuket prepares for the Loy Kratong Festival that takes place at dusk November 2th. We ended it 11 p.m. as Stina was with us, but at midnight is it on the top. The balloon I held up and let go, looks like UFO`s a friend told me. There are thousands of them. This is a very old tradition, and they think all bad things travel ago by doing this. Lots of good food and drinks and sitting on the beach is fun. The water temperature is about 85 F. and the winter is coming soon. |
It is not easy to do everything correct. One man past this government run toilet everyday on his way to the beach. As always, government of Thailand made it, but did not have money to maintain it. So the man wanted to use it, but it stink and looked terrible. He therefore took the effort and washed the toilet with his own hands. This is against the law in Thailand. Nobody can work without work permit, even voluntary without money. This law is made so, because they are protecting Thai from loosing the jobs. |

This is something happening all over the world, As Mai is using her toothpaste, she squishes it in the middle and let the cap open. When we men uses the toothpaste, we roll it up from the end and squishes it from the end. Why this differences? This us one of the questions that never we got an answer on. | Stina is always happy to have a drive in the car, even as it raining. The best drive, she loved most, is on the bike. Now you can see that she got many teeth. |  |
